As a Senior Data Steward in the Customer Programs team at RTX, your role involves supporting the structuring, validation, and governance of in-service operational and reliability data to ensure high data integrity and accessibility for analytics and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Review and validate data from designated platforms to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency - Perform data cleansing, normalization, and structuring activities - Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies, and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution - Assist in maintaining centralized data repositories and structured databases - Develop and maintain standardized data models, templates, and metadata documentation - Generate routine data extracts, summaries, and structured reports - Document data definitions, data flows, and repository structures - Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Required: - B.Sc in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Computer Science, Aviation Management, or Business Analytics - Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in the aviation industry, preferably in data analysis, management, or reporting - Experience in data validation, cleansing, and structuring of large datasets - Basic knowledge of airline field operations and in-service event reporting mechanisms - Working knowledge of relational databases, data repositories, and structured data storage concepts - Familiarity with aviation field terminology and operational data structures - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and working knowledge of Power BI for data visualization - Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with stakeholders Preference Qualifications: - Certification in Data Analytics, Data Management, or Business Intelligence - Training or certification in Data Governance or Data Quality Management frameworks - Foundational training or certification in Quality and continuous improvement methodologies The work hours for this role are in the morning shift (07:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST) with a hybrid onsite requirement.
