Software Development Engineer (SDE) - React Native

About the Role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) specializing in React Native to join our Product Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript, and modern frontend engineering practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable mobile applications while collaborating closely with Product, UI/UX, Backend, and Quality Engineering teams. In addition to mobile development, exposure to ReactJS-based web application development will be considered a strong advantage, enabling contributions across both mobile and web platforms. Key Responsibilities Mobile Application Development Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable application components following engineering best practices.Develop responsive and intuitive user experiences for Android and iOS platforms.Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, backend services, and third-party platforms.Implement efficient application state management using Redux and Redux Saga.Optimize applications for performance, reliability, security, and usability.Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.Product Engineering Participate in technical design discussions and solution architecture.Collaborate with Product Management, UI/UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and Quality Engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and feature delivery.Prepare and maintain technical documentation where required.Engineering Excellence Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.Participate in peer code reviews and technical knowledge-sharing sessions.Follow secure coding standards and engineering best practices.Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity where appropriate.Continuously evaluate and adopt modern mobile development practices.Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.3+ years of experience in React Native application development.Experience delivering production-grade Android and iOS applications.Strong understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript.Required Technical Skills Mobile Development React NativeTypeScriptJavaScript (ES6+)ReduxRedux SagaReact NavigationREST API IntegrationMobile UI DevelopmentGood to Have Experience with ReactJS for modern web application development.Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.Familiarity with state management using Redux in ReactJS applications.Experience with mobile application performance optimization.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.Exposure to Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude AI, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT.Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, deep linking, and mobile analytics.Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.Compensation: 35,000.00 - 50,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurancePaid sick timePaid time offProvident FundApplication Question(s): What is your Notice Period / Joining availability Education: Bachelor's (Required)Experience: React Native: 4 years (Required)ReactJS: 1 year (Required)Work Location: In person .
