As the Proposal and Budgeting Systems Manager at Precision Medicine Group, you will be responsible for supporting the Associate Director, Proposal and Budgeting Systems in building and maintaining financial and other tools used within Business Operations. Your role will involve assisting with budget development, related processes, and reporting needs for internal and external clients. Additionally, you will be required to perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor in accordance with departmental processes and timelines. Responsibilities: - Support the development and maintenance of financial and related tools for the Business Operations Department. - Collaborate with departments in Precision for Medicine and sister companies to capture budgetary needs. - Analyze and develop departmental algorithms with internal personnel. - Complete assigned tasks promptly and accurately. - Keep trackers up to date with the status of assigned tasks. - Participate in the implementation of rates across all departments. - Work with financial department and consultants to ensure necessary data for reporting requirements. - Train Business Operations personnel on tool/system usage. - Assist in training operations staff on interpreting tools/systems. - Manage tools/systems compatibility with Precision ERP and Salesforce needs. - Assist in adjusting systems for unique client requests. - Participate in departmental initiatives. - Perform other job duties as assigned by the line manager. Minimum Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree + 5 years of related experience. - Preferred Education & Experience: - 5+ years of experience in budgeting tools and systems development. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data modeling, and pivot tables. - Experience with Excel VBA for automation and workflow optimization. - Demonstrated experience in developing analytical tools/systems for clinical research, CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare-related environments. Skills and Competencies: - Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost modeling, and analysis. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Product Suite. - Efficient quality control and problem-solving skills. - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication. - Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. - Sound judgment and decision-making abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft applications.
