About the role
As an End User Desktop Support Technician providing on-site technical support, your role involves hands-on assistance to employees with Mac, Windows laptops, and mobile devices. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, setting up new devices, managing hardware assets, supporting AV equipment and conference room technology, and performing network troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: - Provide in-person technical support for macOS and Windows devices, including peripheral setup, OS troubleshooting, and connectivity problems. - Support AV equipment, printers, and conference room technology. - Set up new devices for employee onboarding, including account provisioning and software installation. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment functions correctly. - Perform hardware and software troubleshooting on macOS and Windows environments. - Manage device imaging and deployment processes using tools like Jamf or Intune. - Maintain accurate records of hardware assets from procurement to retirement. - Troubleshoot conference room AV setups, including displays, projectors, and video conferencing systems. - Log, track, prioritize, and resolve support tickets using ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform. - Identify recurring issues and propose preventive solutions. Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of hands-on experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk role. - Strong proficiency in macOS troubleshooting and familiarity with Windows environments. - Hands-on experience with device imaging, hardware asset management, and ITSM tools. - Basic network troubleshooting skills and AV troubleshooting experience. - Strong customer service mindset, ability to work independently, and detail-oriented with accurate documentation.
