Robotics Software Engineer

Design, develop, test, and maintain software for robotic systems using the C/C++ programming language. Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Simulation, Computer Vision, Robotic Hardware, and Software Developers to integrate software and hardware components. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to software design, implementation, and testing. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software, network interfaces with legacy systems, and hardware. Research and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance software quality, performance, and reliability. Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication of technical concepts to management and team members. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years experience in C/C++ software development. Strong programming skills in C++, with a focus on object-oriented programming and design patterns. Deep understanding of SoC principles, system architectures, operating systems, device drivers, memory management, multithreading, and real-time scheduling. In-depth knowledge of real-time systems and concurrent programming. Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Shell and Python, for developing and maintaining software tools. Expertise in using software development tools, such as compilers, debuggers, design tools, and version control systems. Experience in software development on both Linux and Windows platforms.
