As a Hardware & Network Engineer at our organization, your role will involve maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations across all departments. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment - Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues, performing timely repairs or replacements - Managing inventory of IT assets and ensuring proper documentation - Installing and maintaining CCTV systems and biometric devices For network management, you will be responsible for: - Setting up, configuring, and maintaining LAN/WAN networks - Monitoring network performance to minimize downtime - Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and access points - Troubleshooting network issues related to connectivity, speed, and security Additionally, you will provide system and IT support by: - Offering technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues - Installing and updating operating systems, antivirus software, and applications - Managing user accounts, access rights, and basic server support - Ensuring data backup and recovery processes are followed You will also focus on security and compliance by: - Maintaining network security to protect systems from threats - Implementing basic cybersecurity measures such as firewalls, antivirus, and access control - Ensuring compliance with company IT policies and standards Your coordination and maintenance responsibilities will involve: - Collaborating with external vendors for hardware servicing and AMC - Maintaining IT documentation, logs, and reports - Supporting new branch setup including network and hardware installation Qualifications and Skills required: - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field - Proven experience in hardware and network support - Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) - Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls - Familiarity with Windows OS, basic server management, and troubleshooting - Good problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Skills: - Certifications like CCNA / CompTIA / MCSE (added advantage) - Experience in handling multi-location infrastructure - Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and remote support tools Key Competencies: - Strong troubleshooting skills - Time management and multitasking ability - Attention to detail - Ability to work independently and in a team As a Hardware & Network Engineer at our organization, your role will involve maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations across all departments.
