Senior Software Support Engineer – Telematics

Location: Newark, CA / Casa Grande, AZ

We are currently seeking an Senior Software Support Engineer, Telematics . Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. The Role

· Troubleshoot, investigate and isolate issues on the Telematics Control Unit.

· Support manufacturing in Factory and End of Line.

· Collaborate with Engineering and Validation team to resolve issues.

· Take ownership of process improvement for issue mitigation.

· Collaborate with different teams such as Cloud, Powertrain, Data Science etc to realize the project.

Qualifications

• · Experience of writing Software in C/C++ & Shell Scripts

• · Experience in debugging and investigating embedded system related issues.

• · Understanding of Circuit Design, & Automotive Wire-Harness is a plus.

• · Understanding of Linux OS Fundamentals and IPC Mechanisms

• · Knowledge of Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) is a plus

• · Knowledge Diagnostics-over-IP (DoIP) is a plus.

• · Experience with scripting languages/tools and methods to optimize SW development and testing activities.

• · At least 5+ years of industry experience

• · MS/BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science, Computer engineering, Electrical engineering or other related fields or equivalent experience
