Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, your role will involve maintaining and troubleshooting various electronic equipment installed in buses such as LED boards, GPS units, cameras, and MNVR boxes. You will be required to visit bus depots during both night and day hours as per the work schedule. Your responsibilities will include performing wiring checks, providing installation support, and conducting functional testing when necessary. It will be essential to coordinate with the Chennai support team for updates and escalations, as well as to submit daily service logs, reports, and maintenance updates. Ensuring timely resolution of all bus-related technical issues and maintaining professional relationships with depot authorities will be crucial. You must adhere to safety standards while working in depot environments. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and troubleshoot LED boards, GPS units, cameras, and MNVR boxes in buses. - Visit bus depots during night and day hours depending on the work requirements. - Perform wiring checks, installation support, and functional testing as needed. - Coordinate with the Chennai support team for updates and escalations. - Submit daily service logs, reports, and maintenance updates. - Ensure timely resolution of all bus-related technical issues. - Communicate effectively with depot authorities and maintain professional relationships. - Follow safety standards when working in depot environments. Qualifications: - ITI or Diploma in EEE / ECE / Electrical. - Must be prepared for night shift field travel to the specified depots. - Two-wheeler preferred (petrol allowance provided). - Good troubleshooting, communication, and customer-handling skills. - Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic components. You should also be comfortable traveling between multiple depots and have the ability to work independently at night with minimal supervision. Note that you may need to travel to other sites in Maharashtra if required, and the expenses will be taken care of by the company.
