Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with 58 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming expertise in Java and JavaScript, hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of QA methodologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation test frameworks. - Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution. - Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for performance and maintainability. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation. - Maintain comprehensive test documentation and reports. Technical Skills - Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript. - Automation Frameworks: Java: Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber (BDD). JavaScript: Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Protractor. - API Testing: Experience with RESTful services using tools like RestAssured, Postman. - CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub - Database Testing: Basic knowledge of SQL. - Cross-Browser & Cross-Platform Testing: Experience with tools like BrowserStack. Testing Expertise - Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle and Bug Life Cycle. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Familiarity with performance and security testing is a plus.
