As a Lead Solution Architect in this role, you will be the final authority on architecture decisions for a high-scale, multi-country e-commerce platform. Your responsibilities will include approving or rejecting system designs, enforcing scalable architecture standards, and validating decisions through POCs and real performance data. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that systems scale under production load. Key Responsibilities: - Architecture Governance: Final sign-off on designs, can block non-compliant releases - Integrations: Ensure reliability, data integrity, and resilience in integrations - Performance: Optimize latency, throughput, and scalability of systems - Hands-On Validation: Build POCs, run benchmarks to validate decisions - Cloud (AWS): Improve deployment, observability, and architecture standards - Team Building: Mentor engineers and shape architecture practices Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in architecture - Experience in high-scale systems like e-commerce, fintech, or marketplaces - Strong expertise in Microservices (Java / .NET / Python), Event-driven systems, AWS architecture, DevOps & observability In this role, you are expected to be a strong decision-maker, hands-on in your approach (not just review), and comfortable challenging poor designs. Success in this role will be measured by fewer production issues from design flaws, better performance under load, stable integrations, and less rework due to bad architecture decisions. This opportunity offers real ownership of architecture decisions, high-impact work on a multi-country platform, and the chance to solve real scalability challenges. Joining this team will allow you to contribute to Solution Architecture, Software Architecture, Distributed Systems, Microservices Architecture, AWS, Event-Driven Architecture, System Integration, Scalability, and Performance Optimization.
