About the role
As a Senior Electrical Site Supervisor specializing in UG Cable Engineering, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of AC & DC U.G cable networks ranging from 1.1kV to 400kV. Your expertise in Electrical/Power engineering with a focus on MV/LV Electrical Distribution networks will be essential. Here are the key responsibilities you will be expected to handle: - Proficient in HT & LT Panels, including MCC, PCC, CSP, Feeder pillars - Experience in substation engineering, cable engineering, lighting design, and installation of Switchgears and Transformers - Knowledge of switchgear components such as VCBs, MCCBs, MCBs, OC, UV relays - Skilled in cable design, installation methods, surveying, and evaluation of cable routes - Familiarity with civil works related to the underground system including trench excavation and conduit laying - Experienced in Grounding/Earthing of Electrical switchgear - Collaboration with the project management team to develop project documentation - Proficiency in electrical documentation, SLDs, BOQs, panel layouts, cable route plans, and technical specifications - Preparation of specifications for electrical equipment purchases and materials - Networking with external contractors to negotiate deals and monitor equipment stocks Additionally, your key skills should include: - Ability to work anywhere in India - Basic understanding of purchasing, accounting, construction practices, and maintenance workflows - Strong organization, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills - Proficiency in English, Telugu & Hindi Your educational background should be B.Tech/Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering, and you should have 10-15 years of relevant experience in the field. Your role will be critical in ensuring the successful implementation of electrical projects.
