Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain a scalable API automation framework for testing API endpoints in various supply chain applications. - Define and execute test strategies and plans for API automation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project schedules. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to comprehend API requirements, use cases, and integration points. - Develop and manage reusable automation test suites that integrate with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated testing is part of the software release cycle. - Utilize deep knowledge of supply chain systems (OMS, WMS, TMS) to conduct relevant testing across system integrations. - Track, report, and validate defects identified during testing, working with cross-functional teams to resolve them. - Ensure API scalability and reliability by creating performance and load testing scenarios. - Monitor and report test coverage, quality metrics, and KPIs regularly using tools like JIRA. - Lead and mentor junior team members, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement within the QA team. - Stay updated on the latest tools and practices in API automation, enhancing test scripts, frameworks, and processes. - Engage with clients and internal stakeholders, presenting quality plans, test results, and progress reports. Qualifications: - Experience: 8-12 years in QA, with a focus on API automation for at least 6 years. - Automation Tools: Proficiency in Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, and similar API testing tools. - Frameworks: Strong background in building automation frameworks using Java, Python, or similar languages. - CI/CD Integration: Experience in integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. - Supply Chain Knowledge: Thorough understanding of supply chain processes and relevant ERP systems. - Version Control: Skilled in version control systems like Git. - Defect Tracking Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Bugzilla, or other defect tracking tools. - Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in QA, mentoring junior engineers, and driving automation initiatives. - Agile Methodology: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interactions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with supply chain systems like Sterling OMS, Manhattan WMS, or other relevant applications. - Knowledge of cloud-based systems and microservices architecture. - ISTQB or similar QA automation certification. - Experience in performance testing using tools like Gatling, JMeter, NeoLoad, etc. At Acuver Consulting Pvt.
