Piping Design Engineer

Job Title: Piping Design Engineer Position Type: Permanent Location: 9th Floor, Stellar Business Park, Plot No -3, Tech Zone, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh-201308. Department: Mechanical Reporting to: Head of Department (HOD) No. of Positions: 8 Educational Qualifications: Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering Job Description: 1) Taking part in the project planning and scheduling. 2) Review technical requirements of client's specifications and ensure that agreement is reached based on design. 3) Initiate design change controls within the discipline, wherever required. 4) Development of study layout, Plot Plans, key plan, equipment layout, Piping GA drawings & sections, Piping Isometrics, MTO, Pipe support details, layouts, tie in & detail drawings etc . 5) Lead/Participate in discipline based technical reviews such as 3D model Review. 6) Participate in discussions with the client as necessary. To prepare design deliverables such as design specifications, MRs, purchase requisitions etc. as applicable to the project. 7) Reviews the Clients technical documentation and requirements .Issues project piping material specification and piping components data sheets. 8) Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping components calls for tender ,Issues technical bid evaluation for all piping components offers 9) Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping components purchase orders ,Reviews and approved vendor’s documents. 10) Inter discipline co-ordination to get and provide input to other departments like Process, E&I, Mechanical and Civil departments, responsibility of IDC matrix, preparation of piping overall plot plan & unit plot plan.• 11) Preparation of piping & support MTO & material requisitions for piping items. 12) Software Skills a) E3D Perks and Benefits Bus Facility – Noida Sector 18 to Engineering office (Greater Noida) Deputation & over time reimbursements 18 Paid Leaves (unconsumed leaves can be carry forward or encashed) 12 Calendar holidays Thanks & Regards: Savita Joshi LEAD HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER Procon India Pvt.
