About the role
As a Technical Architect focusing on Telecom OSS, networking, and system integration, your role will involve driving architecture, solution design, and technical governance. You will need a deep understanding of telecom platforms, OSS workflows, and automation. Proficiency in Python or Java for solution design and technical validation is essential. Exposure to Ericsson Orchestrator, NFV platforms, and device lifecycle systems will be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: - Define end-to-end solution architecture for OSS, network orchestration, and telecom service lifecycle flows - Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions - Provide architectural guidance for OSS/BSS integrations, network discovery provisioning flows, NFV/orchestration platforms, and device lifecycle upgrade workflows - Review and govern API integrations, data models, and system interfaces - Drive automation strategy using Python/Java-based services, scripts, or microservices - Support the design of fault handling, observability, logging, and resiliency patterns - Participate in technical discussions with ATT architects to ensure alignment with enterprise standards - Mentor development teams, review design, code, and deployment approaches - Support solution estimation, technical risk assessment, and roadmap planning Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in Telecom OSS architecture - Good understanding of service provisioning activation flows, network inventory systems, fault performance management, network orchestration platforms, NFV/SDN concepts - Exposure to Ericsson Orchestrator, NFV platforms, device lifecycle systems, CISCO, and Nokia Networking - Hands-on experience in Python or Java - Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, event-driven integrations, and automation frameworks - Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture, integration patterns, and cloud/container-based deployments - Experience in solution architecture/technical leadership roles, client-facing architecture discussions, design review, and governance - Familiarity with telecom standards, inventory models, and orchestration flows - 13+ years of experience in telecom/OSS/domain architecture roles - Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Telecom Please note: Exposure to large telecom clients, Tier-1 operators, and network automation or upgrade workflows is highly desirable for this role.
