Role Overview: Market Operations Technology is a dynamic, global, and diverse organization that supports operations in over 60 countries. The Technology groups within this organization develop and implement a wide range of applications to support Operations groups, playing a crucial role in the success of the Markets business. They have a significant impact across the trade lifecycle by providing innovative products and solutions. Partnerships are extensive, including product-aligned Middle Office groups, Settlements, Margin, Asset Servicing, Listed Derivative & Commodities Operations. The organization supports various Capital Markets products and services such as Fixed Income, Equity, and Syndicates. The aim is to ensure global clients have a first-class service experience and strategic partnership. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Engineers and Developers: Design and execute a comprehensive Gen AI and Metrics strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Identify opportunities to automate and optimize business processes using generative AI. - Lead and Develop a High Performing Team: Mentor and manage a team of ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and AI practitioners to retain and grow top talent in this field. - Drive Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop impactful solutions and foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team. - Hands-On Execution and Delivery: Oversee end-to-end development and deployment of solutions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Actively participate in design and coding. - Collaboration and Stakeholder Interaction: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, and clients. Advocate for automated testing, infrastructure as code, and continuous monitoring to enhance software reliability. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in AI, ML, and Data Engineering. - 5+ years of leadership experience managing distributed teams. - Deep technical expertise in middleware technologies and their application in AI systems. - Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies like Agile and DevOps. - Proficiency in Python, key python libraries, Agentic Frameworks, and MCP. - Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML model deployment. - Knowledge of distributed training and parallel processing frameworks for large-scale AI projects. - Familiarity with AWS services related to AI/ML and workflow. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. - Financial industry experience would be a plus.
