Mainframe Data Integration/ETL Developer

Experience Required: 5 to 15 Years Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain data extraction and integration solutions for IBM z/OS mainframe environments. Analyze and interpret mainframe file structures, including: VSAM Sequential Files COBOL Copybooks DB2 for z/OS Tables JCL Processes Perform data profiling, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities. Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues across source and target systems. Support data migration and mainframe modernization initiatives. Create and maintain technical documentation, process diagrams, and operational runbooks. Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices. Required Skills IBM z/OS DB2 for z/OS COBOL Copybooks VSAM Files JCL (Job Control Language) ETL/ELT Design & Development Data Validation & Reconciliation SQL Development and Query Optimization Required Experience Experience working with IBM z/OS mainframe environments. Strong understanding of COBOL Copybooks, VSAM files, DB2 for z/OS, and JCL. Experience designing and developing enterprise ETL/data integration solutions. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with enterprise ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or Talend.
