Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Senior Software Engineer at project44. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, and programming tasks. Qualifications 5+ years professional experience building large scale and real time or near real time cloud systems. Strong programming and debugging skills, with proficiency in Java & Spring. Experience in Building systems in a multi-cloud environment. We use AWS & GCP but value experience in other cloud environments such as Azure. Creating and working with scalable Java-based micro-services. Working with databases (preferably Postgres or other SQL based DB) Event stores and stream-processing in Kafka or Kinesis. Working in an agile software development environment. Desirable and helpful (but not necessary) are experience in Building systems supporting many and varied integrations to third parties. Creating API's/web services: REST, OpenAPI/Swagger is a plus. Container-orchestration: Docker & Kubernetes Enjoy database related work: DynamoDB, MongoDB, Postgres. Analytical approach to problem solving. Personal drive and maintaining a high pace - while taking responsibility for things working.
