About the role
As a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer at Prolifics, your primary responsibility will involve designing and implementing automated test solutions. You will be handling complex automation scenarios across UI and API layers, focusing on framework development, integration testing, and quality enhancement. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java - Create, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks - Automate API testing for REST-based services and system integrations - Handle complex automation scenarios involving multiple systems, APIs, and data dependencies - Analyze test results, debug failures, and ensure high test reliability - Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and DevOps teams - Contribute to automation best practices, standards, and reusable components - Support CI/CD integration and continuous testing initiatives Mandatory Skills: - Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java - Hands-on expertise in API test automation - Proven experience in automation framework creation and maintenance - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts - Experience handling integration-level automation and complex workflows Good to Have: - Experience with TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) - Exposure to mobile automation or performance testing - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments In addition to your technical skills, soft skills such as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, the capability to work independently on complex automation tasks, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are highly valued at Prolifics.
