Application Engineer in Molecular Modeling

As an Application Engineer, Advanced at Prolim in the field of computational chemistry and multiscale modeling, your role involves being a key player in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team at Simcenter CULGI. Your primary responsibility is to support customers in achieving their objectives by executing individual projects, performing simulation tasks, ensuring quality results, reporting progress, and delivering valuable solutions. You will also engage with customers to manage their expectations effectively. - Interfaces with customers to facilitate project execution - Provides feedback to the development team for enhancing software solutions - Develops and updates scripts to support simulation tasks - Proactively communicates project status - Utilizes appropriate tools to analyze and resolve technical issues Qualifications: - B.Tech in Biotechnology/Chemistry, MSc in Biotechnology/Chemistry, or Ph.D. in computational science (biology or chemistry) - Capable of handling multiple projects concurrently - Effective communication of complex technical concepts - Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Skills: - Previous experience as an R&D engineer is advantageous - Commercial or professional industrial experience is a plus - Knowledge or experience in multiscale modeling and/or computational chemistry is beneficial As an Application Engineer, Advanced at Prolim in the field of computational chemistry and multiscale modeling, your role involves being a key player in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team at Simcenter CULGI.
