Role Overview

This role focuses on Pega Data Migration, involving a comprehensive Pega Cloud Readiness Assessment and the execution of a detailed migration project plan. The specialist will be responsible for configuring client-side connectivity, migrating application rules, and performing necessary remediation to ensure a smooth transition to Pega Cloud. Key Responsibilities: Perform the Pega Cloud Readiness Assessment of the current Pega solution, in consultation with Pega. Create a Migration Project Plan, in consultation with Pega. Configure client-side connectivity to endpoint resources and infrastructure. Migrate the application Rules, in consultation with Pega. Perform remediation for items identified in the assessment and gap analysis. Resolve issues discovered during testing. Complete functional testing of the applications, and inform Pega when it is completed. Complete performance testing of the applications, in consultation with Pega. Perform Production Cutover, in partnership with Pega. Required Skills: Familiarity of all major Pega rules typically used in any workflow orchestration applications. Understands and applies the best practices/Pega guardrails in the development process. Understanding of Pega security models, rule-based accesses and application of the knowledge in development. Understanding of performance tuning in Pega applications, elementary knowledge on database objects like tables, indexes, joins etc. Qualifications: Pega CSSA certification.
