Role Overview

This role is for an Engineer specializing in HiTech Automation Testing, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java. Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Develop BDD test scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin. Perform API, UI, and database testing. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution. Maintain test data and support test environment setup. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies. Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts. Provide testing metrics and quality reports to stakeholders. Required Skills: Strong programming skills in Java. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver. Expertise in Cucumber (BDD Framework) and Gherkin. Experience with TestNG/JUnit. API testing using Postman and/or Rest Assured. Strong SQL skills for database validation. Experience with Jenkins. Experience with Git. Experience with Bitbucket. Experience with GitHub. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution. Experience in defect tracking tools such as JIRA. Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience in automation testing.
