Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Developer to join our team in Plano, TX. This role requires extensive expertise in various AWS services, robust backend system design, and proficiency in modern API development practices. The ideal candidate will contribute to large-scale platform initiatives, focusing on building scalable, fault-tolerant, and cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement API frameworks using Spring Boot. Design and build scalable and fault-tolerant backend systems. Utilize and manage a range of AWS services including Amazon S3, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway. Implement and manage Kafka eventing mechanisms, covering producers, consumers, topics, partitions, event schema registration, validation, and message flow. Apply strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous processing in development. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices. Support large-scale platform or tech-enablement initiatives. Leverage knowledge of observability tools for logging, monitoring, and tracing. Required Skills: Strong experience with AWS services: Amazon S3, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, API Gateway. Hands-on experience building Spring Boot–based API frameworks. Solid understanding of Kafka eventing mechanisms, including Producers/consumers, Topics and partitions, Event schemas registration and validation, and message flow. Experience designing scalable and fault-tolerant backend systems. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous processing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices. Experience with Liberty systems technology design patterns and enterprise integration processes (if possible). Exposure to microservices architecture and domain-driven design. Prior experience supporting large-scale platform or tech-enablement initiatives. Knowledge of observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing). AWS DevOps and Automation. Qualifications: 12+ Years of experience.
