Role Overview

The Senior Java Kafka Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-grade full-stack applications, focusing on microservices, event-driven systems, and real-time data processing using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Flink. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot. Build highly scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven systems. Implement resilient architectures leveraging Kafka and Flink for real-time data processing. Design Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, schemas, and message contracts. Implement Confluent Kafka solutions including Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and stream processing. Develop and optimize Apache Flink streaming jobs for real-time analytics and stateful stream processing. Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway). Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline. Develop Python utilities, automation frameworks, and data-processing workflows. Execute JMeter performance tests and tune Kafka consumers/producers. Required Skills: Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture. Confluent Kafka (Connect, Schema Registry, Event Streaming). Apache Flink (Stateful Processing, Windowing, Checkpointing). Front-end development with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. AWS Services, JUnit, Mockito, and JMeter. Qualifications: 7–13 years of software engineering experience. Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink. Proven AWS development experience.
