Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Kafka Engineer to design and develop enterprise-grade full-stack applications, focusing on highly scalable RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and real-time data processing using Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot. Implement resilient architectures leveraging Kafka and Flink for real-time data processing. Design Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, schemas, and message contracts. Develop and optimize Apache Flink streaming jobs for real-time analytics, data transformation, and event enrichment. Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS including Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB. Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline. Develop Python utilities and automation frameworks for data-processing workflows. Execute JMeter performance tests to identify bottlenecks and tune Kafka consumers/producers. Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular or React. Required Skills: Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture. Confluent Kafka (Connect, Schema Registry, Event Streaming). Apache Flink (Stateful Processing, Windowing, Checkpointing). AWS Services (Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM). Front End: Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3. Testing: JUnit, Mockito, JMeter. Qualifications: 7–13 years of software engineering experience. Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink. Proven AWS development experience.
