VP, Product & Cloud Security

Role Overview: As a highly accomplished and forward-thinking VP, Product & Cloud Security at Protectt.ai, you will be responsible for leading the global information security strategy. Your role will involve defining, architecting, and operationalizing the end-to-end security posture of Protectt.ai, encompassing application security, cloud security, product security, enterprise security, and regulatory compliance. Given the critical nature of our product line and customer base, your expertise in Application Security, Cloud Security, Threat Intelligence, Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and Mobile Security will be invaluable in leading enterprise-scale security programs in high-growth environments. Key Responsibilities: - Security Strategy & Governance: - Define and lead Protectt.ais global information security strategy, vision, and governance framework. - Establish security policies, controls, and frameworks aligned with global standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, and CERT-In. - Application & Cloud Security Leadership: - Lead security for all product lines, with a focus on mobile app security, RASP, transaction security, and cloud-native deployments. - Implement and scale secure SDLC, DevSecOps, code review practices, and security automation across engineering teams. - Threat Detection, Incident Response & Risk Management: - Build and lead enterprise-grade threat intelligence, incident response (IR), and vulnerability management programs. - Oversee continuous monitoring, red-teaming, and penetration testing both internally and externally. - Compliance & Regulatory Management: - Oversee compliance for BFSI, FinTech, and global markets, ensuring adherence to standards like RBI, CERT-In, PCI-DSS, GDPR, and MEA regulations. - Own audit readiness, documentation, and reporting for internal and external security audits. - Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Cloud Ops, Sales, Customer Success, and Legal teams to embed security across the organization. - Present security posture, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to the CEO, Board, and leadership team. - Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: - Act as the senior security authority for customers, regulators, auditors, and global enterprise stakeholders. - Support enterprise deals by showcasing platform security, certifications, and resilience. - Future-Ready Innovation: - Drive the adoption of advanced security technologies like AI-driven threat analytics, behavioural security, zero-trust, and mobile-specific defence models. - Enhance Protectt.ais position as a leader in mobile and app security through driving product-security innovation. Qualifications: - 12 - 18 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity leadership roles. - Strong expertise in Application Security, Cloud Security, Mobile Security, and DevSecOps. - Experience securing large-scale, cloud-native platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Profound understanding of BFSI/FinTech security standards, risk frameworks, RBI guidelines, and CERT-In directives. - Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and board-level reporting skills. - Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology; Master's degree (MBA/MS Cybersecurity) preferred. - Certifications a plus: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, SABSA, ISO 27001 LA/LI.
