Maths & Numbers Analyst

As a Maths & Numbers Analyst at Protein World's Gurgaon headquarters, your role will involve two key threads from day one: - Cost engineering for the HQ build in Udyog Vihar, including managing vendors, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), variance analysis, and material sourcing. You will be responsible for understanding contractor details and stone prices. - Analyzing Protein World's unit economics at SKU level, conducting P&L analysis, reconciling marketplace and direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales, modeling cost of goods sold (COGS), and setting prices for nutrition and pharma products. Your work will have a direct impact on product line trajectories. We are seeking an individual who: - Thinks analytically and mathematically, prioritizing numbers in decision-making processes. - Pays attention to detail, identifying subtle discrepancies that others may overlook. - Demonstrates efficiency in work, focusing on clarity and avoiding unnecessary complexity. The ideal candidate should have: - A quantitative undergraduate degree in Maths, Statistics, Economics Hons, or Engineering from reputable institutions such as ISI, CMI, IIT, NIT, BITS, top DU colleges, or Ashoka. - Achieved a minimum of 90% in Mathematics in Class 12. - 2-3 years of experience in a role emphasizing modeling over reporting. - Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with a willingness to learn the finance stack.
