About the role
Role: SAP EWM Functional Consultant Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment. Customize SAP EWM modules to support warehouse processes (inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, cross-docking, RF frameworks). Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, TM) and external systems (e.g., 3PL platforms, automation tools). Analyze existing warehouse operations and recommend SAP EWM-driven improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Design solutions for complex scenarios (e.g., labor management, yard logistics, slotting, wave planning). Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications. Conduct workshops to gather needs and demonstrate solution capabilities. Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes. Develop training materials and conduct sessions for super-users and warehouse staff. Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and integration points. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GxP, OSHA) and SAP best practices. Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication for SAP EWM projects. Support data migration, cutover activities, and post-implementation hypercare. Basic Criteria: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience: 6+ years of hands-on SAP EWM configuration and implementation experience Technical Skills: Proficiency in embedded EWM (SAP S/4HANA) and/or decentralized EWM. Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of warehouse processes (VAS, RFID, handling unit management) and integration with mobile devices (RF guns, SAP Fiori).
