Principal Network Architect

As a Senior L3 Network Engineer at Provate, Inc., you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex enterprise networks with a focus on Cisco and Aruba solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise Cisco and Aruba network infrastructure. - Managing and optimizing Layer 3 networking environments, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRFs, and VLAN segmentation. - Troubleshooting routing, failover, and network performance issues. - Supporting high-availability network architectures and business-critical infrastructure. - Performing network upgrades, firmware maintenance, configuration reviews, and capacity planning. In addition to the above, you will also be involved in deploying and supporting Aruba wireless infrastructure, administering Aruba Central and Aruba ClearPass environments, and optimizing wireless coverage, performance, and roaming capabilities. Your role will also encompass supporting secure enterprise network segmentation initiatives, collaborating with infrastructure and security teams, and integrating network environments with firewall platforms and security solutions. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 8+ years of enterprise networking experience. - Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco IOS/XE/NX-OS and ArubaOS-CX. - Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), enterprise switching architectures, high-availability network design, and network segmentation. - Experience managing enterprise wireless and NAC environments. - Strong troubleshooting skills across multi-site enterprise networks. - Experience integrating network infrastructure with security and firewall technologies. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments, exposure to SD-WAN technologies and WAN optimization solutions, and familiarity with advanced network monitoring and performance management practices. Certifications preferred for this role are CCNP Enterprise / CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), and Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP).
