As a member of the Shared Service Analytics team at Providence, your role is crucial in modernizing the analytical data platform to improve caregiver and patient experience. Here's what you'll be responsible for: - Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: - Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure data solutions align with business objectives. - Data warehousing and Data Engg Excellence: - Design and develop robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration strategies for seamless data flow. - Advanced Analytics and Modeling: - Conduct sophisticated data analysis, use innovative models, and employ statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems. - Continuous Learning and Innovation: - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, lead research initiatives, and identify opportunities to integrate cutting-edge technologies. - Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): - Conduct EDA to gain deep insights into data patterns and use visualizations effectively. - Presentation and Communication: - Present findings and insights to stakeholders through data visualizations and reports in a clear manner. - Statistical Analysis and Validation: - Engage in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions. - Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: - Document the data analysis process and methodologies for future reference and knowledge sharing. - Cultural Enrichment: - Foster a culture of innovation, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement within the data science team. If you are a candidate with the following qualifications, you could be the ideal fit for this role: - 3+ years experience in Business Intelligence solutions. - Strong passion for data and building insightful reports. - Conceptual understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, indexing, and parallel data processing. - Ability to write SQL/R/Python scripts for data retrieval. - Experience in building reports using PowerBI, Tableau, or any other reporting tool. - Knowledge of cloud technologies, with Azure experience preferred. - Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Hands-on experience with GPT architecture, including designing and customizing for LLM, is advantageous. - Experience in the healthcare domain would be a plus.
