About the role
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/BOBJ & SAP HANA Reporting Consultant with strong expertise in enterprise reporting, analytics, and financial solution development. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in SAP BW, BEx Queries, SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), HANA Calculation Views, and back-end data modeling. This role requires the ability to independently translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions, with a strong focus on financial reporting and performance management. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and support SAP BW reporting solutions using BEx Queries and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ). - Develop and optimize SAP HANA Calculation Views to support complex reporting and analytical requirements. - Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs. - Independently design and deliver end-to-end financial reporting and analytics solutions. - Build and maintain BW data models, including ADSO, InfoObjects, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide effective analytical solutions. - Design efficient front-end reporting solutions while ensuring robust and scalable back-end architecture. - Perform performance tuning and optimization of BW and HANA reporting objects. - Support data validation, reconciliation, testing, and deployment activities. - Provide technical guidance and best practices for reporting and data modeling initiatives. Required Skills & Experience - 8+ years of experience in SAP BW/BI Reporting. - Strong hands-on expertise in BEx Query Designer and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ). - Experience in developing SAP HANA Calculation Views. - Solid knowledge of SAP BW Data Modeling, including ADSO, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains, and InfoProviders. - Experience in designing and delivering Financial Reporting & Analytics Solutions. - Ability to independently drive requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment. - Strong understanding of reporting architecture and data warehousing concepts. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills - Experience with SAP BW/4HANA. - Knowledge of SAP BPC, SAC, or other financial planning and reporting solutions. - Experience in performance optimization of BW and HANA environments. - Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
