Job Title Azure Security Engineer 4 to 6 years Job Location Pune Job Type Full time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Azure Security Engineer to design implement and manage security controls across Microsoft Azure environments The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure security services cloud governance threat protection and incident response ensuring secure and compliant cloud infrastructure for enterprise workloads Key Responsibilities Design implement and manage security solutions within Microsoft Azure environments Configure and monitor Azure security services including Microsoft Defender for Cloud Azure Sentinel SIEM Azure Policy and Azure Monitor Implement identity and access management using Azure AD Entra ID RBAC Conditional Access and MFA Secure Azure networking components such as NSGs Azure Firewall Application Gateway and WAF Perform security assessments vulnerability management and risk analysis for Azure workloads Monitor investigate and respond to cloud security incidents and alerts Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 CIS Benchmarks and organizational policies Collaborate with cloud architects DevOps and SOC teams to embed security best practices Develop and maintain security documentation playbooks and standard operating procedures Stay updated with emerging Azure security features threats and best practices Required Skills Qualifications Strong hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure environments Experience with Azure Sentinel SIEM Defender for Cloud and log analytics Solid understanding of Azure AD Entra ID identity governance RBAC and Conditional Access Knowledge of Azure networking and security controls NSGs Firewall WAF Experience with vulnerability management and security posture management Understanding of cloud security concepts zero trust architecture and shared responsibility model Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Azure security certifications such as AZ-500 Microsoft Azure Security Technologies Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst SC-200 Experience with scripting or automation PowerShell Azure CLI Exposure to DevSecOps practices and CI CD pipeline security .
