About the internship Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Understand electronic schematics and design requirements. 2. Create and maintain PCB libraries, including symbols and footprints. 3. Place components for optimal performance and manufacturability. 4. Route signal, power, and ground traces following PCB design rules. 5. Perform DRC, DFM, DFA, and DFT checks. 6. Ensure signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), EMI/EMC, and thermal considerations. 7. Generate manufacturing files, including Gerber files, drill files, BOM, and assembly drawings. 8. Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams. 9. Support PCB fabrication, assembly, testing, and prototype debugging. 10. Implement design changes (ECOs) and maintain project documentation.
