About the role
Administer and optimize Oracle databases for high performance and reliability. Implement best practices for database design, tuning, and maintenance. Customer Interaction: Work directly with customers to troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and ensure timely resolution of problems. Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system monitoring. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Oracle Database Expertise: Robust experience in performance tuning, administration, and best practices. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver effective solutions. PL/SQL: Proficiency in writing and optimizing PL/SQL queries and procedures. Customer Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and professionally to customers. Linux/Unix Administration: Familiarity with shell scripting and system commands. Java & Tomcat: Basic understanding of Java applications and Tomcat server configuration. Warehouse Management Systems: Exposure to WMS concepts and workflows. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4+ years of experience in Oracle database administration and tuning. Strong analytical and communication skills.
