About the role
As a Senior Embedded Engineer specializing in Sensor Systems, your role will be to design and develop sensor-based products, with a focus on pressure, flow, and industrial instrumentation systems. You will lead firmware development, system architecture, sensor integration, and mentor junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end embedded development for sensor products such as pressure, flow, temperature, position, and level systems. - Design system architecture, including hardware-firmware integration. - Develop and optimize embedded firmware using C/C++. - Interface sensors and implement signal acquisition, filtering, noise reduction, calibration, linearization, and compensation algorithms. - Work with analog front-end circuits, ADC optimization, and handle communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, RS485/Modbus, and CAN. - Perform debugging and root cause analysis using lab instruments. - Ensure compliance with industrial standards such as EMI/EMC and safety regulations. - Lead product validation, testing, and resolve field issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in embedded C/C++. - Hands-on experience with microcontrollers like STM32, TI, NXP, etc. - Deep understanding of sensor interfacing, signal conditioning, analog electronics, ADC/DAC, and data acquisition systems. - Experience in sensor calibration techniques and debugging. - Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and version control systems like Git. Preferred Skills: - Experience in flow measurement technologies such as ultrasonic, DP, vortex, etc. - Knowledge of RTOS/embedded Linux systems and EMI/EMC design and testing. - Familiarity with protocols like HART, Ethernet/IP, or wireless IoT. - Experience in product certification and compliance. Education: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Embedded Systems. Experience: - 4-10 years in embedded systems with proven experience in sensor product development. Key Attributes: - Technical leadership and ownership. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to handle the complete product lifecycle. - Effective communication and team collaboration. Deliverables: - Robust embedded firmware and system architecture. - Sensor calibration and compensation algorithms. - Design documentation and test reports. - Support for product release and field performance.
