Job Purpose The Hardware & Network Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, network infrastructure, servers, and IT systems within the manufacturing facility. The role ensures smooth operation of IT infrastructure, network security, data availability, and uninterrupted support to production and business operations. Key Responsibilities Hardware Management Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and other IT hardware. Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues. Perform preventive maintenance of IT equipment. Manage hardware inventory, asset tracking, and warranty records. Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and AMC services. Upgrade hardware systems as per organizational requirements. Network Administration Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity. Manage network switches, routers, firewalls, and access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Ensure network availability and minimal downtime. Configure and manage IP addressing and network security policies. Server & System Administration Support Windows Server Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies. Monitor server health, storage utilization, and system performance. Perform user account management and access control. Support ERP, attendance, CCTV, and other business applications. Cybersecurity & Data Protection Implement antivirus and endpoint security solutions. Monitor network security and prevent unauthorized access. Manage backup and recovery processes. Support cybersecurity audits and compliance requirements. Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Documentation & Compliance Maintain IT infrastructure documentation and records. Track IT assets, licenses, and software compliance. Support ISO, IT audits, and cybersecurity assessments. Educational Qualification Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science, or equivalent.
