About the role
Key Responsibilities: 1. Work collaboratively with remote team members to develop deliverables required for Piping Mechanical engineering drawings. 2. Perform 2D drafting using MicroStation/AutoCAD. 3. Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of 2D drawings, including Piping Instrumentation Drawings, Equipment Drawings, Equipment Layouts, Vessel Drawings, Mechanical Integrity Drawings, etc. 4. Review and incorporate redlines and identify areas for improvement in Piping Mechanical design and drafting. 5. Occasional support may be required for 3D modeling using AVEVA E3D/PDMS Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an Engineering and/or Engineering Services organization. 3. Preference given to candidates with experience in Oil Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, or EPC organizations. 4. Proficient knowledge of Piping Instrumentation, Vessels and Mechanical Equipment symbology, terminology, and drawings. 5. Hands-on experience with QA/QC activities on Mechanical and Piping drawings. 6. Proficiency in CAD tools: MicroStation/AutoCAD (preferred) and familiarity with AVEVA E3D/PDMS is advantageous. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. 8. Strong written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
