About the role
Role Overview: As an Associate at PwC, you will be responsible for designing and developing ways to automate and reimagine audits. You would develop audit solutions by implementing innovative technologies such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, Power BI, PowerApps, and Process Intelligence. You will build a strong understanding of the role data and analytics play in modern-day audits. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering client engagements, data management, analytics and reporting, advanced analytics, and enhancing relationships with engagement teams and clients. This role provides an opportunity to interact with territory audit teams to articulate objectives and testing results. Key Responsibilities: - Delivering client engagements - Data management, including data extraction and data cleansing processes - Analytics and reporting, including visualization of data to help organizations manage business risk, establish the right controls, processes, and structures, and improve decision-making - Advanced analytics using data science techniques to help clients navigate future risks and opportunities through predictive and prescriptive analytics - Enhancing and building strong relationships with engagement teams and clients Qualifications Required: - Minimum Degree(s): Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Accounting with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience - Preferred candidates with "Big 4" or equivalent experience - Essential Skills: Market credentials in data & analytics, stakeholder management, project management, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and ambition to develop a long-term career in PwC - Desirable Skills: Basic finance process knowledge, audit experience, technology in data & analytics, working with financial services institutions or commercial sectors, experience in financial reporting, accounting, regulatory compliance, or internal audit - Technical Skills: Data transformation and modeling, data storage and querying, data visualization, understanding of common data quality issues, data cleansing and manipulation for machine learning, robotics experience, finance/accounting understanding, knowledge of data science software platforms Please note that Any additional details of the company were not present in the provided job description.
