About the role
Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in Cloud Managed Services Operations, your main responsibility will be to guide and direct the Data Center Infrastructure Solutions management team, coordinate various resources for project implementations, provide strategic direction for Data Center technologies, and participate in triage calls for major incidents. You will also be involved in researching and analyzing new technologies, participating in the Business Plan process, evaluating training needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory policies, and managing staff performance and development. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving technical designs, leading budget planning, hiring and retaining talent, maintaining staff training levels, and ensuring Service Level Agreements are met. Key Responsibilities: - Guide and direct the Data Center Infrastructure Solutions management team in supporting development efforts and production support - Coordinate various Infrastructure Solutions resources to ensure consistent implementations as per short- and long-range plans - Provide strategic direction for the Data Center technologies group with on- and offshore resources - Participate in triage calls for major incidents and drive resolutions - Research and analyze new technologies, establish short- and long-range plans for Infrastructure Solutions - Prepare project descriptions, estimates, milestones, and technical design documents for Business Plan projects - Evaluate training needs, develop performance objectives, conduct performance reviews, and manage staff - Review and approve installation and configuration of required infrastructure - Enforce infrastructure software standards and regulatory compliance - Lead Infrastructure Solutions program budget planning - Hire and retain top talent, coach and manage the team, maintain staff training levels - Ensure all Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements are satisfied - Identify and resolve operational or system risks, support Infrastructure discovery, design, build, and migration - Utilize Server Operating Systems, Storage, Virtualization Platforms, Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Automation, and Agile approaches for automation initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred - 7+ years of experience in a related field - Preferred fields of study: Computer and Information Science - Additional educational preferences: Masters of Technology desired (Company details were not provided in the Job Description) Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in Cloud Managed Services Operations, your main responsibility will be to guide and direct the Data Center Infrastructure Solutions management team, coordinate various resources for project implementations, provide strategic direction for Data Center technologies, and participate in triage calls for major incidents.
