Responsibilities: - Developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance - Designing, coding, and testing applications to deliver exceptional user experiences - Applying PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks programming skills to create efficient and scalable software products alongside using Genie and other AI capabilities on Databricks - Collaborating with team members to navigate varying challenges and scopes in a fast-paced environment - Taking ownership of tasks and consistently delivering quality work that drives value for clients - Building a personal brand by contributing reliably to team projects and client engagements - Analyzing information from diverse sources to discern patterns and inform software development - Learning and applying professional and technical standards to uphold the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements Qualifications Required: - At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, MBA (finance related), or M.Com - 1-2.5 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required Skills Required: - Strong Data Engineering skills to design and build scalable and enterprise-grade data pipelines utilizing PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks - Technical background and experience on the Databricks platform with a strong understanding of workflows, DLT, Asset Bundles, Unity catalog, Genie, etc. - Understanding and experience in Azure including Azure cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage and Data Services - Deep understanding of Data modeling techniques and Architectures like Delta Lake, DWH, and Lakehouse architecture - Experience setting up CI/CD, automated testing, and version control for fast and reliable deployments - Experience in ML techniques, RAG and Agentic frameworks like Langchain, LangGraph, etc. - Solid understanding of Distributed systems, and experience with Apache Spark framework - Experience with Genie and other AI capabilities on Databricks is highly desirable If you are interested in transforming the way work is delivered as part of the Tax Innovation Data team, this role at PwC Acceleration Center India offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow both professionally and personally.
