Responsibilities: Strong expertise with GCP services like BigQuery , Dataflow, Dataproc , Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Dataform , GCS, and cloud functions. Implement data governance with Dataplex , security, and logging best practices to ensure compliance and data privacy. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes. Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes on BigQuery , Cloud Storage, and other GCP storage solutions. Implement data integration, ingestion, and transformation workflows to support analytics and machine learning initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark and SQL . Mandatory skill sets: GCP Data Services: BigQuery , Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc , Dataplex , Cloud Storage, Data Catalog, Cloud Composer Data Engineering & Data Architecture Data Governance Frameworks: lineage, metadata management, data quality, security controls Data Mesh architecture and domain-driven design ETL/ELT development (DBT) and databases like Snowflake Programming: SQL, Python and/or Java Orchestration: Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / Deployment Manager DevOps & CI/CD practices for data workflows Preferred skill sets: Dataplex .
