About the role

Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for smart factory and Industry 4 solutions like IIoT platform, Digital Logbook, Energy Management Solutions, Digital Twin, Warehouse management Systems, Traceability solutions, MES and PLM. Conduct As-Is assessment of client s manufacturing operations, identify operational gaps and challenges Lead workshops, requirements gathering, and process mapping to develop functional specifications aligned with client business goals. Create business cases mapping the operational gaps, estimated benefits and the best suited smart factory solutions. Proficient in architecting IT/OT integration and map necessary capabilities aligned to standard Industry 4.0 framework Understanding of industry digital maturity and aligned KPIs Lead medium and large-scale Smart Factory, Industry 4.0 implementation projects Ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation execution Create high level designs for solution architecture specific to business needs and sector benchmarks. Ability to define features / functionalities of industrial solutions for the manufacturing sector will be a plus ( i.e. the ability to play a BA role) Lead on site efforts for data collection, workshops and walkthrough sessions with technical and functional stakeholders. Draft sector/business specific frameworks and conduct workshops for carrying out digital maturity assessments Draft and prepare business requirement documents, RFPs, and review techno commercial document in alignment with client requirements. Ability to manage implementation projects (PMO role), ensuring timely completion of the project, budget adherence, and meeting client expectations. Ability to manage project economics. Mandatory skill sets: Hands-on experience in leading industry 4.0 projects including shopfloor data capture, architecture design, IT/OT Integrations & designing cloud infrastructure. Smart factory implementation and operation experience in both continuous and batch manufacturing processes. Consistently demonstrate agility in grasping new trends and aligning with evolving industry dynamics, ensuring strategies and recommendations remain relevant and impactful to the client s business context. Proficient in analyzing key manufacturing KPIs and its baseline values Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to drive business and manage client expectations. Proven project management expertise , with the ability to manage complex projects and teams. Must have knowledge on smart factory COTS solutions from solution providers like ABB, Honeywell, Rockwell, Dassault Systems Familiarity with functional integration requirements of smart factory solutions with upstream and downstream systems. Hands on experience in project micro plan preparation and integrated scheduling of multiple track projects. Draft and publish weekly project status reports, steering committee reports coordinating with multiple stakeholders and client leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Project Management tools. Good oral and written communication is mandatory. Develops strong stake holders and vendor management by building trust, rapport and positive working relationships with key sponsors and team members. Remain updated with cutting edge industry and technology drivers and innovations. Manage discussions with various levels of technical audiences and functional stakeholders. Preferred skill sets: - Relevant Certifications are good to have. Years of experience required : 4 to 8 yrs of experience in implementing Industry 4.0 projects & shop floor digital transformation initiatives. Education qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M.E / M.TECH / MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs .
