Senior Associate- DevOps SRE

PwC India is looking for an experienced DevOps SRE to join our Technology Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for automating and improving operations processes. This role involves working closely with development and operations teams to build, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available systems Mandatory Skills and Experience: 5-7 years of DevOps experience with good experience in any one of the hyperscalers Leverage AI tools for enhancing productivity and improving quality of the DevOps process Azure DevOps/Jenkins: Proficient in using Azure DevOps or Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, with the ability to design and implement complex automation workflows. Kubernetes: Solid experience in deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes, including setting up clusters, pod management, and networking. Terraform/ARM Template: Strong experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate the provisioning of infrastructure on Azure. Linux: Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, including system administration, file systems, and networking. Preferred Skills: Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting for automating tasks and operations procedures. Knowledge of Groovy scripting is a plus. Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Azure Monitor to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure. Security Practices: Understanding of security best practices in a DevOps environment, including secure coding practices, security automation, and vulnerability assessment. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins, ensuring seamless and automated deployment processes. Manage Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or ARM templates to automate the provisioning and management of Azure infrastructure. Ensure system reliability and uptime through proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management. Develop and maintain scripts to automate operations tasks and improve system efficiency.
