Job SummaryAt PwC, our finance consulting experts provide financial management and strategy solutions. This role focuses on transportation planning and engineering projects, supporting the development, calibration, and validation of traffic models to deliver sustainable and efficient transport solutions. ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and calibration of demand models (VISUM) and microsimulation models using VISSIM, Aimsun, or similar platforms.Conduct traffic simulations to evaluate the performance of existing and proposed transportation systems.Analyze simulation results to identify traffic flow patterns, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.Collect, process, and analyze traffic data from field surveys, traffic counts, and big data sources.Perform capacity analysis, level-of-service assessments, and intersection analysis.Support the development of traffic impact studies and reports.Supervise subcontractors conducting primary surveys and maintain organized, accurate records of modelling data, assumptions, and results.Prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and visualizations for clients and stakeholders.Assist in the preparation of proposals, project plans, and documentation.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including planners, engineers, and GIS specialists, and provide technical support to senior modellers and project managers.Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.Mandatory Skill SetsVISSIMVISUMMS ExcelMS WordMS PowerPointPreferred Skill SetsPython/VBAQGISPTV VistroSUMOEducation and ExperienceEducation: Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
