BI Engineer- Qlikview (Telangana)

Preferred Knowledge & Skills As a Specialist, youll contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards and SQL-based solutions. You will work closely with senior team members, business analysts, and data engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and insightful reporting solutions: - QlikView Dashboard Development Develop, enhance, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using QlikView Apply best practices in data modeling, scripting, and UI design for optimal performance Assist in migrating or integrating QlikView applications with newer BI platforms (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI) - SQL Querying & Data Handling Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation Perform joins, aggregations, window functions, and subqueries to support reporting needs Validate datasets against business rules and ensure data integrity - ETL & Data Preparation Support Support data extraction from multiple sources and load into staging/reporting layers Collaborate with ETL teams to optimize data flows for QlikView dashboards Assist in troubleshooting data load issues and performance bottlenecks - BI & Analytics Integration Work with business analysts to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions Ensure dashboards deliver meaningful insights aligned with business KPIs Support integration with downstream analytics tools and self-service BI environments - Data Quality & Governance Support Perform data profiling and cleansing activities in collaboration with DQ teams Help document lineage, transformations, and dashboard logic for audit/compliance needs - Cloud & Hybrid Platform Exposure Gain hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for BI and SQL solutions Assist in configuring connections to cloud-hosted databases and data lakes - Collaboration & Agile Delivery Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions Work closely with senior associates, managers, and business stakeholders in an agile model - Documentation & Continuous Learning Maintain technical documentation for dashboards, queries, and workflows Actively pursue upskilling in emerging BI tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau) and cloud technologies - Soft Skills & Qualified Attributes Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively Proactive learner with attention to detail and ownership of deliverables Preferred Knowledge & Skills As a Specialist, youll contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards and SQL-based solutions.
