About the role
Role Overview: As an Associate in Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Forensics at PwC, you will have the opportunity to solve critical business and data protection challenges for clients. You will be part of a dynamic team driving strategic programs, data analytics, innovation, cyber resilience, and technical implementation activities. Your role will involve collaborating with top professionals in the field to deliver effective cybersecurity solutions and technologies that protect against threats, support business objectives, and enable growth. Key Responsibilities: - Work as part of a team to monitor the alert queue on a 24x7 shift basis - Triage security and device alerts, and create necessary tickets for incidents or requests - Collect data and context for investigations by level 2 security analysts - Follow alerts and incidents playbooks/runbooks - Maintain access to security tools required for investigations - Ensure incident identification, assessment, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring - Maintain compliance with SLAs, process adherence, and process improvements - Revise and develop processes to strengthen the Security Operations Framework - Coordinate with stakeholders and build positive relationships - Proficient in Incident Management and Response - Manage security devices and multiple SIEM platforms - Knowledge of security concepts, cyber attacks, threat vectors, risk management, etc. - Experience in MSSP environment - Familiarity with various operating systems and applications to address security threats - Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation - Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Handle high-pressure situations with key stakeholders - CISSP and GIAC certifications preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering - Minimum of 2 years in Information Technology and Information Security Additional Details: As part of PwC, you will have access to training and development opportunities to enhance your technical and business acumen.
