As a Manager with expertise in Google Cloud, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments. Your responsibilities will include: - Having 7+ years of direct experience working in IT Infrastructure - 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role working with enterprise clients - Experience in Identity and Access Management, networking, storage, compute infrastructure (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers) for implementing/maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments - Implementation experience in Networking, DevOps, Security, Compute, Storage, Containers, Kubernetes - Managing large scale Windows/Linux environments - Advanced knowledge in areas of networking, including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies - Familiarity with Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases, and/or Big Data technologies (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Spark, Hadoop, other Open Source) - Proficiency in application development concepts and technologies (e.g. CI/CD, Java, Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible) - Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and/or continuous integration/delivery - Understanding of open-source server software (such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch) - Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or equivalent - Customer-facing migration experience, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations - Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills - Willingness to travel around 30%-40% - Bachelors degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience - Certifications Required: Google Associate Cloud Engineer - Certifications Alternate: Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer The preferred skill sets for this role include: - Experience in advanced areas of networking, including Linux, software-defined networking, network virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience and hold a B.E/B. Tech/MBA/Mtech/MCA degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field. A Master of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering degree is required, while an MBA (Master of Business Administration) is preferred.
