Infrastructure and Backup Lead (Maharashtra)

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and optimize enterprise backup and recovery solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. - Enterprise Backup, Restore & Data Protection Engineering - Design, implementation, administration, and optimization of enterprise backup and recovery solutions across hybrid environments. - Define, govern, and validate RTO/RPO objectives aligned to operational resilience and business continuity requirements. - Build cyber-resilient backup architectures leveraging immutability, air-gap protection, encryption, and ransomware recovery capabilities. - Automate backup operations and infrastructure using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, and IaC principles. - Lead disaster recovery testing, recovery validation, and audit evidence generation. - Ensure compliance with DORA, PRA/FCA, BCBS239, GDPR, and enterprise governance standards. - Support cloud-native backup, recovery, and protection strategies across AWS, Azure, VMware, and storage platforms. - Manage data sovereignty, third-party backup vendor governance, and regulatory audit requirements. - Hands On Redhat Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS Mandatory Required Skills - Backup Platforms: Cohesity, Rubrik, Commvault, NetApp, Dell Data Domain, IBM Safeguarded Copy, HP EVA, MSA, Hitachi VSP. - Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Azure, VMware, Hybrid Cloud, Enterprise Storage. - Automation: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). - Cyber Recovery: Immutable Backups, Air-Gapped Architecture, Encryption, Recovery Vaults, Ransomware Recovery. - Resilience & Compliance: DR Testing, RTO/RPO Management, DORA, FCA/PRA, BCBS239, GDPR. - Domain Expertise: Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk & Regulatory Compliance in Financial Services.
