Senior Associate - GCP Data Engineer - Data and Analytics Advisory

Role Overview: As a Senior Associate in the Advisory line of service at PwC, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Data and Analytics services, helping organizations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results through smarter data analytics. Your focus will be on various organizational technology capabilities like business intelligence, data management, and data assurance to assist clients in driving innovation, growth, and change to keep pace with evolving customer needs and technological advancements. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to understand business requirements and deliver actionable data solutions. - Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into GCP-based data warehouses. - Build and manage data lakes and data marts on GCP to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. - Implement automated data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure data integrity. - Optimize and tune performance for large-scale data processing jobs in BigQuery, Dataflow, and other GCP tools. - Create and maintain data pipelines for collecting, cleaning, and transforming data for analytics and machine learning purposes. - Ensure data governance and compliance with organizational policies, including data security, privacy, and access controls. - Stay updated with new GCP services and features, making recommendations for enhancements and new implementations.
