Senior Associate - Ignition Developer

Role Overview: You will be a skilled Ignition Developer at PwC, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade IIoT solutions using Ignition. Your role will involve working on high-throughput OT data ingestion, industrial integrations, real-time dashboards, visualization components, and scalable deployment architectures. Key Responsibilities: - Set up infrastructure to host Ignition and associated software - Design Ignition deployment architecture and specify VMs and HA enablement - Configure Ignition for data ingestion from various sources and UNS implementation - Establish data exchange mechanisms with systems like MES, ERP, and Digital Logbook - Configure Ignition for cloud data transmission and edge server database storage - Develop screens on Ignition for real-time data visualization and KPIs - Create custom scripts using Derived Tags for managing data and interfacing with databases and cloud platforms - Provide best practice guidance on Ignition to the development team and create technical design documents Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in setting up Ignition in HA production environments - Hands-on experience with large-scale Ignition systems from multiple data sources - Proficiency in Ignition Python scripting and working with databases - Experience with Azure IoT Hub, Azure Injector, and Ignition cloud integrations - Knowledge of OPC connectivity in Ignition - Ability to create Low-Level Design documentation - Hands-on experience with Ignition Screen Development and Visualization (Perspective, Vision) - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent - 3 to 6 years of experience as an Ignition Developer Additional Details: PwC is committed to providing equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on various factors.
