Senior SAS Consultant

Immediate need for a Senior SAS Consultant for a position in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is a 6+ month’s contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Reston , VA. Please review the job description below:

Key Responsibilities/ Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 5+ years of experience with SAS admin experience on UNIX environment. 5+ years of experience with Shell / Perl script programming on UNIX environment 1 - 3 years of experience with SAS development in SAS Grid environment. Experience in using SAS/Access interface to various RDBMS including DB2, Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server. Should be able to migrate Autosys jobs, create and update Jil/Runbooks. Experience with source code management using GIT. Experience in workload automation / job scheduling using Autosys. Experience in preparing the SAS Macros. Responsible for preparing the Transition documentation. Responsible for Code check-in/checkout & version control. Experience in working SAS/EBI tools is plus. Should be able to interact with Development team/Business users and prepare the documentation.
